In the heart of Southwestern Uganda lies Kanungu District, a region known for its breathtaking landscapes and vibrant community spirit. But beyond its natural beauty, Kanungu is also a place where women and girls face significant challenges, from limited access to education to economic inequalities. Stepping up to address these issues is a group of passionate women who form the Kanungu Galz Network (K16). Founded in 2016, Kanungu Galz Network brings together 50 women from diverse professional and social backgrounds, all with a shared goal: to improve the lives of vulnerable women and girls in Kanungu District.
