Since the inception of its SGBV program in 2015, Nyaka has been at the forefront of providing comprehensive support to survivors, with an unwavering commitment to ending this pervasive issue. As of 2024, Nyaka's dedicated efforts have reached an astounding 1,279 survivors, offering them the care and resources they need to reclaim their lives and rebuild their futures. At the heart of Nyaka’s mission are its four Healing Centers, strategically located in the Kanungu and Rukungiri Districts. These centers serve as sanctuaries for survivors, providing a safe space for recovery and a gateway to vital services.
